Our advisory services focus on three core concepts that we feel serve as the foundation for a successful retirement plan. We focus on:
- How to save, including the benefits of tax-preferred savings.
- How to invest, starting with proper asset allocation.
- How to retire, with the help of intelligent income-replacement planning.
Meeting Checklist
In these meetings, our primary goal is to evaluate your current use of the available benefits at Floyd Medical. Moving forward, we would like to work towards a better understanding of your financial situation and long-term goals. The following information and documents are not required for the first meeting, but will help us maximize your time:
Priority:
- Paystubs (including spouse if employed)
- Investment Account Statements (brokerage, mutual fund, annuity)
- Retirement Account Statements (401k, 403b, IRA’s)
- Pension benefit information (if applicable)
- Tax Return (most recent year available)
If easily available:
- Social Security benefit estimate statement (including spouse)
- Insurance policies (life, disability, LTC) (Employer provided or individual)
- Home mortgage information (if applicable)
- Additional loans (type, balance, interest rate)
- Legal documents (wills, trust, power of attorney)
- Summary info on insurance, other assets, debt, etc
Once we have compiled all of the necessary information to understand your financial picture, our team at Cannon will build a household financial plan for you. We will review and decide on a plan of implementation, which we will assist you with over time. We will review and adjust the plan as your stage of life changes over the years.
